I am a postdoctoral researcher in
Kent Blasie's group in the Chemistry Department at the University of
Pennsylvania.
I live in
West Philly now, but my hometown is
Perth Amboy, NJ. I am an
alumnus of St. Stephen's School,
Perth Amboy High School, and Princeton
University ('91!), where I majored in electrical engineering and earned
a certificate in engineering physics. I spent the '91-'92 academic year
in Munich as a DAAD fellow studying biophysics, and maintain an active
interest in German
culture and literature. My own heritage is Polish-American, and I enjoy
opportunities to practice my Polish and broaden my knowledge of the culture
-- like the lecture
series of the Polski Uniwersytet Ludowy.
I am also interested in literature, film, music and comics.
