Some Stuff About My Background

This map shows the region in Southeastern Poland that my family comes from. My Mom grew up in Stara Wies in the upper left-hand corner of the map (Str. Wies). My Dad is from Hlomcza, on the right-hand side, about a third of the way down from the top. My sister was born in Sanok, the city in the lower center (the "K" is obscured by the fold of the atlas I scanned in -- Polska Atlas Drogowy, GeoCenter, Warsaw, Poland (1997) pp. 226-227. [ISBN: 83-7129-295-3] The scale of the map is such that the blue grid lines enclose boxes that are 12.2 x 18.6 km.

I was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and attended Perth Amboy High School (Class of '87!).
